Laura spent over 18 years in the funding world as the Executive Director of the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country and as Program Director of the Carl B. & Florence E. King Foundation. Prior to entering the field of philanthropy, she managed several small businesses within the hospitality industry. Today, Laura builds on her entrepreneurial and philanthropic experiences through her consulting practice focused on foundations and nonprofits. She is a problem solver and connector and brings with her a birds-eye view of her clients’ work on the ground.
Laura lives in Dallas. Her passions include staying involved through volunteering; puttering in the garden; trying her hand at cooking, traveling with her husband, Michael; and accompanying their dog, Seaver on her many walks through the neighborhood.
