Dr. Kia has authored the the Bridge to Thriving Framework© and The Civil Rights Road to Deeper Learning: Five Essentials for Equity. As CEO of Wise Chipmunk LLC, an education and research firm, she leverages over 25 years of work in education, research, and leadership to offer learning opportunities and advising to individuals, organizations, and other entities. Her focus on human development, transformative justice, and healing justice is grounded in the knowledge that design driven by those furthest from power improves everyone’s lives. She supports people in facing their fears, cultivating abundance, and developing a principled, perseverant approach to getting free.
